Interakt pricing explained: plans, per-message rates, the Shopify price list, and alternatives

Interakt's website lists three paid plans in rupees with unlimited agents. Its Shopify listing has four plans in US dollars. We read both on 9 October 2026, along with the per-message rates and the AI agents add-on, and priced one four-person team on Interakt and five alternatives.

The short version

  • As listed on 9 Oct 2026, Interakt's website plans are Starter at ₹999, Growth at ₹2,799 and Advanced at ₹3,799 a month plus taxes, each with unlimited agents. Starter is Instagram only on monthly billing.
  • Interakt's per-message rates to Indian numbers fall with the plan: ₹0.970, ₹0.958 and ₹0.949 for marketing, and ₹0.160, ₹0.150 and ₹0.140 for utility. Meta's list rates are ₹0.8631 and ₹0.115.
  • The Shopify listing is a separate price list in US dollars: $21, $41, $51 and $99 a month, with WhatsApp charges on top.
  • The AI agents add-on is ₹3,000 a month plus GST on Growth or Advanced, with 100 AI messages included and ₹0.50 for each one after.
  • Interakt Growth was the lowest total in five worked bills in our earlier articles. For a four-person team sending little marketing, AiSensy Basic and Conecxt Basic come out lower.

Interakt pricing looks simple on first read: three paid plans, unlimited agents, monthly billing. It gets harder in three places. The cheapest plan means something different on each billing period, the Shopify integration sits on a separate price list in US dollars, and the AI agents add-on is described two ways on the same page.

We make Conecxt, one of the products compared here. Every Interakt figure below comes from Interakt’s own pricing page, the rate page it links to, its sign-up page and its two Shopify listings, read on 9 October 2026. The alternatives are quoted from their own pages, read the same day. Where a page doesn’t give a number, we say “not published”.

What does Interakt cost per month?

Interakt’s Growth plan is ₹2,799 a month and Advanced is ₹3,799 a month, both marked “+taxes”, as listed on 9 Oct 2026. Starter is ₹999 a month and Enterprise is on request. Every plan lists unlimited agents.

By our arithmetic, Growth works out to about ₹2,566 a month on quarterly billing and about ₹2,200 a month on yearly billing. Contacts are listed as unlimited on every plan, and messages as “Unlimited Messages (Based on your WhatsApp Number)”. The sign-up page offers a 14-day trial with no credit card.

Read the Starter column twice. On the monthly tab it says “Includes Instagram Only”, so ₹999 a month doesn’t buy WhatsApp. On the quarterly and yearly tabs the same plan says “Pick any one channel” and describes bulk WhatsApp campaigns and a shared team inbox. A WhatsApp-only business that wants Starter has to pay ₹3,499 for the quarter. Its agents are listed as “Owner Roles”, where Growth says “All Roles”.

Not published on the page: how many WhatsApp numbers a plan covers, and what a second number costs.

What does Interakt charge per WhatsApp message?

Interakt sells WhatsApp messages at its own listed price, which drops slightly as the plan rises. On Growth that is ₹0.958 per marketing message and ₹0.150 per utility message to an Indian number.

Per message to an Indian numberMarketingUtilityAuthenticationService, after the free 1,000
Meta’s list rate₹0.8631₹0.115₹0.115₹0.115
Interakt Starter (quarterly or yearly)₹0.970₹0.160₹0.129₹0.129
Interakt Growth₹0.958₹0.150₹0.128₹0.128
Interakt Advanced₹0.949₹0.140₹0.127₹0.127
Interakt Enterprise”No Markup Charges”

Meta’s row is its India rate card effective 1 October 2026, before GST. Interakt’s page doesn’t say whether its message prices include GST, so treat the gap as a listed difference and ask.

On Growth, a marketing message is listed ₹0.0949 above Meta’s list rate and a utility message ₹0.035 above. For 10,000 of each in a month, that’s ₹949 and ₹350. A provider charging a margin on messages is a normal business model. It only needs to be read alongside the plan price.

Two details in the table are unusual. Interakt prices utility above authentication on every plan, where Meta lists the same rate for both. And compared with the other four rupee rate cards we read (Wati, AiSensy, Gallabox, DoubleTick), Interakt’s marketing rate is the lowest listed while its utility rate on Starter and Growth is the highest. A business sending mostly offers and one sending mostly order updates will see that differently.

On service messages the page says “Charges applicable after the 1000 free service messages are exhausted”. It doesn’t say whether that allowance is per number. Meta’s page says each business phone number gets 1,000 a month. Our explainer on the October change covers the rule, and the glossary defines the message types. For customers outside India, Interakt links a country table in rupees and dollars, which also lists international authentication to India at ₹2.807, ₹2.772 and ₹2.747 by plan.

Is Interakt priced differently on Shopify?

Yes. The website’s feature table has a row that reads “Shopify Integration (Only included on Shopify plan to know more please click here)”, and the link goes to Interakt’s listing on Shopify’s app marketplace. That listing has its own plans, in US dollars.

Shopify listing planPer monthPer year, as listedNamed features
Starter$21$180API approval and setup, automated notifications, shared team inbox, WhatsApp widget
Growth$41$296Notifications with delay, analytics, basic chatbot, roles and permissions, Instagram automation
Advanced$51$468Advanced chatbot, 600 messages a minute API rate limit, agent stats, advanced chat routing
Premier$99$839Three AI agents (sales, FAQ, lead qualification), a pop-up for collecting WhatsApp numbers, Shopify actions in the workflow builder

Each plan shows a 14-day free trial and the line ”+ Additional WhatsApp Conversation charges”. The listing adds: “All charges are billed in USD. Recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days.” It doesn’t print per-message rates, so we can’t say whether a Shopify-plan customer pays the website’s rates. A second listing, Sell on WhatsApp, syncs the Shopify catalogue and lists Growth, Advanced and Premier at the same $41, $51 and $99.

The website is less clear than the listing. Beneath the “only on Shopify plan” heading, its plan cards still list order update notifications, abandoned cart reminders and “Shopify & Any 1 of Razorpay, PayU, Woocommerce” under free apps. If you run a store, ask Interakt in writing which price list you’ll be billed on and in which currency. Our comparison of WhatsApp tools for Shopify stores puts this listing beside three others.

What does the AI agents add-on cost?

The banner on the plan table reads “Add on: WhatsApp AI Agents @ 3000 INR for Growth & Advanced plan” and gives no billing period. The WhatsApp AI Agents tab on the same page fills that in: “Monthly Subscription”, ₹3,000 a month (+GST), “Includes 100 free AI messages”, then “Per AI message beyond 100 @ ₹0.50/ message”.

The tab names three agents, for sales, lead qualification and customer support, and says all three are active at once. It also says you need Growth or Advanced to switch them on. So the lowest monthly figure for Interakt with AI agents is ₹2,799 + ₹3,000 = ₹5,799 before taxes and messages. At 1,000 AI messages a month the add-on comes to ₹3,000 + 900 × ₹0.50 = ₹3,450.

Note the wording: the plans say “+taxes” and the add-on says “+GST”. One more thing to ask. Meta’s page defines service messages as non-template messages that “can be powered by a 3rd-party AI solution or people”, and Interakt’s page doesn’t say whether the ₹0.50 covers the service-message charge on an AI reply.

Two other priced items sit on the page. A separate Sales CRM plan is ₹2,499 a month plus taxes with 5 sales agents, and more at ₹499 a month each. Outbound calling from the inbox is listed under Advanced.

Interakt has been the lowest total in most of our worked bills

We have priced five illustrative teams on Interakt and its competitors in earlier articles, and Interakt Growth was the lowest total in all five. That includes an eight-person showroom, a three-person brand sending 25,000 marketing messages and a ten-person team with two numbers, where it came to ₹11,747.00 against ₹12,238.80 for our own Growth plan.

The reasons are on its pricing page. Unlimited agents mean the plan fee doesn’t rise with headcount, and its marketing rate is the lowest of the five rupee rate cards. Those bills had either six or more people or several thousand marketing messages.

So for this article we picked a team where neither is true.

Interakt vs Wati, and four other alternatives

On entry plans, Interakt differs from Wati mainly on seats and the marketing rate, and from AiSensy mainly on the plan fee. Each row is the vendor’s entry paid plan for WhatsApp on its shortest listed billing period, as listed on 9 Oct 2026.

Entry planPeople includedMarketingUtilityService, after the free 1,000Trial
Interakt Growth₹2,799 a month (+taxes)Unlimited agents₹0.958₹0.150₹0.12814 days
Wati Growth₹2,999 a month3 users, no extras₹1.0357₹0.1495₹0.13807 days
AiSensy Basic₹1,500 a month1 owner + 5 agents₹1.09₹0.145₹0.145Free plan, no broadcasting

Conecxt Basic₹2,499 a month, excluding taxes5 team membersBilled by MetaBilled by MetaBilled by Meta7 days

On Interakt vs Wati specifically: Wati Growth costs ₹200 a month more, seats three people and can’t add a fourth, and lists a higher marketing rate. What Wati’s plan has that Interakt Growth doesn’t is AI in the price, one AI agent and 2,000 AI credits, and Wati lists HubSpot from Pro and Salesforce on Business. Wati sells a Shopify integration as a $4.99 a month add-on.

With Conecxt, businesses add their own payment method in Meta Business Manager and Meta bills them at its rate card. That makes two bills, one from us and one from Meta.

What would a four-person diagnostics lab pay?

Between about ₹4,000 and about ₹9,300 a month before GST, and on monthly billing Interakt is third of six. This team is small and sends few offers, which is the opposite of the teams in our earlier bills.

The lab is illustrative. Ignatius Fernandes runs a pathology lab in Panaji with home sample collection. Four people share one WhatsApp number: two at the front desk, the collection coordinator and him. Our assumptions:

  • 4 users, 1 WhatsApp number, about 3,800 patient contacts
  • 1,500 marketing messages a month (one health-package offer to patients who opted in), all to Indian numbers
  • 4,500 utility templates a month: booking confirmations, collection-slot reminders and report-ready notices
  • 2,600 service replies a month, so 1,600 are charged after the free 1,000
  • Monthly billing where it’s offered, otherwise the shortest listed term
  • No AI or chatbot add-ons, no GST, every provider rate treated as before tax
ProviderPlan that fits 4 peoplePlatform per monthMessage chargesTotal per month
AiSensyBasic, 1 owner + 5 agents₹1,500₹2,519.50₹4,019.50
ConecxtBasic, 5 team members₹2,499₹1,996.15 (paid to Meta)₹4,495.15
InteraktGrowth, unlimited agents₹2,799₹2,316.80₹5,115.80
DoubleTickStarter, 5 agents, billed quarterly₹3,500₹2,274.34₹5,774.34
WatiPro (Growth stops at 3 users)₹6,499₹2,382.45₹8,881.45
GallaboxEssential (Basic stops at 3 users), billed quarterly₹6,999₹2,295.93₹9,294.93

The Interakt line in full: 1,500 × ₹0.958 = ₹1,437, plus 4,500 × ₹0.150 = ₹675, plus 1,600 × ₹0.128 = ₹204.80. That’s ₹2,316.80 in messages and ₹5,115.80 with the plan. Every other row is the same sum at that provider’s rates.

Some caveats. Interakt’s Starter plan on quarterly billing would come to about ₹3,548 a month at its own rates, the lowest figure here, if a plan whose agents are listed as “Owner Roles” suits four people and the lab is willing to pay ₹3,499 a quarter in advance. Wati Pro and Gallabox Essential include AI credits and features this lab didn’t ask for, so the table compares cost for this team and says nothing about value. A fifth person changes nothing in the first four rows. A sixth would push Conecxt to Growth at ₹4,299 and DoubleTick to a higher plan, and leave Interakt where it is.

Volume moves the order too. Hold everything else and raise marketing messages, and Interakt Growth passes AiSensy Basic at roughly 9,800 a month.

When is Interakt the better choice, and when isn’t it?

Interakt is the better choice when headcount or marketing volume is high. That comes from what each company publishes. It’s no judgement on how well any product works.

Choose Interakt over the others here, Conecxt included, if more than ten people need a login, since nobody else in the table lists unlimited agents. Choose it if most of your sending is marketing messages and you want the lowest listed rate among providers that bill messages themselves. It also lists Instagram in the same inbox from Growth, bills monthly, and offers the longest trial in the table at 14 days.

Look elsewhere in a few cases. AiSensy has a free plan and a ₹1,500 entry plan with six logins, which is why it tops the lab’s table. DoubleTick and Gallabox list lower utility and service rates. Wati and Gallabox put AI credits inside the plan, where Interakt charges ₹3,000 a month extra, and both list HubSpot at their middle tier.

Questions to send Interakt before you pay

The pricing page leaves five things open. Put them in one email and keep the reply.

  1. Do the per-message prices include GST?
  2. How many WhatsApp numbers does my plan cover, and what does another one cost?
  3. Is the 1,000 free service messages counted per number or per account?
  4. If I connect a Shopify store, am I billed on the website plan in rupees or the Shopify plan in dollars, and at which message rates?
  5. Does the ₹0.50 per AI message include the service-message charge on that reply?

The same email works for any vendor on your list. Our twelve questions for any WhatsApp API provider add the ones about number ownership and leaving, and the roundup of nine tools has the other entry plans in one table.

Then swap Ignatius’s four numbers for yours and redo the sum. If more than six people reply, or you send over 10,000 marketing messages a month, expect Interakt near the top of your own table.
