AiSensy WhatsApp API pricing in India, and five alternatives compared

AiSensy has the lowest paid entry price of the six providers we read, and a free plan. Whether it stays the lowest bill depends on how many marketing messages you send. Here are the published numbers, and the sum for one three-person brand.

The short version

  • As listed on 7 Oct 2026, AiSensy's plans are Free Forever at ₹0, Basic at ₹1,500, Pro at ₹3,200, Premium at ₹9,100 and Unlimited at ₹45,000 a month on monthly billing.
  • AiSensy lists the same message rates on every paid plan: ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility, authentication or service message to Indian numbers. The first 1,000 service messages a month are free.
  • "Unlimited Users" on AiSensy's page means unlimited customers you can message. Team logins are counted separately: Basic includes 1 owner and 5 agents, and extra agents are ₹750 a month each.
  • The AI chat agent (₹1,350 a month) and chatbot flows (₹2,500 a month) are separate add-ons on every plan.
  • For a three-person brand sending 25,000 marketing messages a month, message charges are over 90% of the AiSensy bill, so the per-message rate decides the comparison.

AiSensy WhatsApp API pricing starts lower than most of the Indian market: a free plan, then ₹1,500 a month. An AiSensy bill has three parts, though. There’s the subscription, a prepaid wallet for WhatsApp messages at AiSensy’s rates, and add-ons for the AI agent and chatbot flows. For a business that sends a lot of campaigns, the wallet is by far the biggest of the three.

We make Conecxt, one of the products compared here. For that reason every number in this article is taken from each company’s own public pages, read on 7 October 2026 and listed in the sources. Where a page didn’t give a number we say “not published”. Pricing pages change often, so confirm on the live page.

What does AiSensy cost per month?

AiSensy lists five priced plans, from ₹0 to ₹45,000 a month on monthly billing, plus a custom Enterprise plan, as listed on 7 Oct 2026.

The page shows “Save 5%” on quarterly and “Save 10%” on yearly billing. We read the monthly prices only, so the discounted figures aren’t quoted here. It doesn’t say whether plan prices include GST.

One phrase on the page is easy to misread. The plans are headed “Unlimited Users Plan”, and AiSensy’s FAQ explains that this means no limit on the monthly active users you can message. It isn’t a promise of unlimited team logins. Agents are counted as in the table, and each extra agent seat is ₹750 a month.

Contacts are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Billing is prepaid throughout.

Is the AiSensy WhatsApp API free?

The API access is; sending campaigns isn’t. AiSensy’s Free Forever plan costs ₹0 with no card, and the page says there’s no setup or procurement fee for the WhatsApp Business API.

That plan includes a live chat dashboard, template creation, a Click-to-WhatsApp ads manager and ₹50 of sign-up message credits. Broadcasting is not available on it, so the first campaign needs Basic at ₹1,500 a month. And on any plan, chargeable messages are paid from the prepaid credits.

For a business that only wants to answer incoming chats from one dashboard and stay under 1,000 replies a month, the free plan may be all it needs. That’s a real point in AiSensy’s favour, and none of the other five providers here lists a free plan.

What does AiSensy charge per WhatsApp message?

AiSensy lists ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility, authentication or service message to Indian numbers, effective 1 October 2026. The rates are the same on Basic, Pro, Premium and Unlimited; Enterprise is custom.

Per delivered message (India)MarketingUtilityAuthenticationService, after the free 1,000
Meta’s list price₹0.8631₹0.115₹0.115₹0.115
AiSensy, all paid plans₹1.09₹0.145₹0.145₹0.145
Difference₹0.2269₹0.03₹0.03₹0.03

Meta’s row is its India rate card effective 1 October 2026, before GST. AiSensy’s page doesn’t state whether its message rates include GST.

AiSensy calls the prepaid wallet WhatsApp Conversation Credits. Each chargeable message is deducted from it when delivered, and its FAQ says a minimum balance of ₹10 is needed to keep chatbots and automation working. Every WhatsApp number gets 1,000 free service messages a month, and AiSensy’s page is clear that chatbot and AI agent replies count as service messages too. If the service-message rule is new to you, our explainer on what WhatsApp costs since October has the background, and the glossary defines the terms.

A provider adding a margin per message is a normal business model. It just means the plan price and the message rate have to be read together.

Which AiSensy add-ons cost extra?

Four, each charged on top of whichever plan you’re on.

Add-onPrice as listed on 7 Oct 2026
AI Chat Agent₹1,350 a month, includes 1,000 AI messages
Chatbot Flows₹2,500 a month, for 5 chatbots
Extra team member₹750 per seat a month
Indian virtual number₹2,000 + GST a year

The price of AI messages beyond the included 1,000 is described as “separate charges apply”, with no figure published. AI and chatbot replies also use up the free service messages, and cost ₹0.145 each after that.

So a Basic account with the AI agent and chatbot flows is ₹1,500 + ₹1,350 + ₹2,500 = ₹5,350 a month before any message is sent. Worth knowing if automation is the reason you’re buying.

How do five AiSensy alternatives compare?

The alternatives charge more for the subscription and less per marketing message. This table uses the plan each would need for the brand in the next section, and each company’s India rates as listed on 7 Oct 2026.

PlanPer monthMarketingUtilityService, after the free 1,000
AiSensyBasic₹1,500₹1.09₹0.145₹0.145
InteraktGrowth₹2,799 (+taxes)₹0.958₹0.150₹0.128
DoubleTickStarter₹3,500, billed quarterly (+GST)₹0.99₹0.1294₹0.1294
WatiPro₹6,499₹0.9926₹0.1495₹0.1380
GallaboxEssential₹6,999, billed quarterly₹0.9926₹0.1323₹0.1323
ConecxtProfessional₹8,499, excluding taxes₹0.8631, billed by Meta₹0.115, billed by Meta₹0.115, billed by Meta

A few things sit behind those rows. Wati’s rates differ by plan: its Growth card lists ₹1.0357 for marketing, and Growth includes 15k broadcasts a month. Interakt’s cheaper Starter plan is shown as Instagram only on monthly billing. Gallabox and DoubleTick list quarterly and yearly billing but no monthly option, and DoubleTick’s page says it has no free trial. DoubleTick’s sheet lists authentication messages to India at ₹0.35.

With Conecxt, businesses add their own payment method in Meta Business Manager and Meta bills them at its rate card. The subscription goes to us and the message charges go to Meta, as two separate bills.

What would a three-person D2C brand pay on each?

Between about ₹27,400 and about ₹32,400 a month before GST, on the published numbers. At this volume the six totals sit within about ₹5,000 of each other, and message charges make up most of every one.

The brand is illustrative. Kaustubh Joglekar sells skincare online from Belagavi with two colleagues, and the three of them share one WhatsApp number. Assumptions:

  • 3 users, 1 WhatsApp number, 12,000 opted-in customers
  • 25,000 marketing messages a month (roughly two campaigns to the full list), all to Indian numbers
  • 4,000 utility templates a month for order and dispatch updates
  • 1,500 service replies a month, so 500 are charged after the free 1,000
  • Monthly billing where offered, otherwise the shortest listed term
  • No AI or chatbot add-ons, no GST, every provider rate treated as before tax
ProviderPlan and whyPlatform per monthMessage chargesTotal per month
InteraktGrowth₹2,799₹24,614.00₹27,413.00
DoubleTickStarter, 5 agents₹3,500₹25,332.30₹28,832.30
AiSensyBasic, 1 owner + 5 agents₹1,500₹27,902.50₹29,402.50
ConecxtProfessional (Growth caps contacts at 10,000 and messages at 20,000)₹8,499₹22,095.00 (paid to Meta)₹30,594.00
WatiPro (Growth lists 15k broadcasts a month)₹6,499₹25,482.00₹31,981.00
GallaboxEssential (Basic lists a 10K broadcast contact limit a month)₹6,999₹25,410.35₹32,409.35

The AiSensy line in full: 25,000 × ₹1.09 = ₹27,250, plus 4,000 × ₹0.145 = ₹580, plus 500 × ₹0.145 = ₹72.50, which is ₹27,902.50 in message charges. Add ₹1,500 for Basic and the month comes to ₹29,402.50. Message charges are about 95% of it.

Read the Conecxt row carefully, because it’s ours. We have the lowest message charges in the table and the highest subscription, since our plans cap contacts and monthly messages and this brand’s 12,000 contacts push it to Professional. The result is fourth of six. We’d rather show that than pick a team that flatters us.

Volume changes the order. Take marketing messages alone and compare AiSensy Basic with Interakt Growth: Interakt’s subscription is ₹1,299 higher and its marketing rate is ₹0.132 lower, so the two cross at roughly 9,800 marketing messages a month. Below that, AiSensy’s lower subscription wins the pairing. Against our own Basic plan the crossing point is about 4,400.

One more option for this brand: Interakt’s Starter plan on quarterly billing (₹3,499 a quarter, one channel, with agents listed as “Owner Roles”) would come to about ₹26,121 a month at its own rates of ₹0.970, ₹0.160 and ₹0.129.

When is AiSensy the better choice?

When volume is low, the team is small, or you want to start at ₹0. These are facts from the pricing pages, with no view on how well any product works.

AiSensy is the only one of the six with a free plan. Its ₹1,500 Basic plan is the lowest paid entry price, it’s billed monthly, and it includes six logins. Extra seats are sold one at a time at ₹750. Contacts are unlimited, and Basic lists Shopify and WooCommerce integrations. For a three-person shop sending 3,000 marketing messages a month, AiSensy Basic comes to ₹4,770, the lowest of the monthly-billed plans in this article.

Other needs point elsewhere. Interakt lists unlimited agents on every plan, so its price doesn’t rise with team size. Wati lists HubSpot on Pro and Salesforce on Business. Gallabox includes an Instagram handle and a web widget on every plan. DoubleTick’s Pro plan includes AI voice call minutes.

Before you choose

Count last month’s marketing messages. Under about 5,000, compare subscriptions and seats first. Over 20,000, compare the marketing rate first, and ask each provider in writing whether that rate includes GST, because no rate page we read says. If you’re still shortlisting, our twelve questions for any WhatsApp API provider cover ownership and exit terms, which a price table can’t.
