What a 10-person team pays for WhatsApp each month on eight providers: one scenario, eight bills
Ten people, two numbers, 19,000 messages a month to Indian customers. We priced that one month on Wati, AiSensy, Interakt, Gallabox, DoubleTick, Zoko, 360dialog, Twilio and Conecxt, using only what each pricing page listed on 7 October 2026, and left out anything a page didn't publish.
The short version
- For 10 users, 2 numbers and 19,000 messages a month in India, the six rupee-priced bills ran from ₹11,747.00 to ₹24,744.80 before taxes, as listed on 7 Oct 2026. Three of the six leave out a component the page doesn't publish.
- Meta's own charge for the messages in this scenario is ₹7,939.80 at its list rates. Rupee rate cards published by five providers put the same messages between ₹8,948.00 and ₹10,025.00.
- Seats and second numbers move the platform fee most: from nothing extra on plans with 10 or unlimited users to ₹8,994 a month on a plan that includes five users and one number.
- The price of a second WhatsApp number was not published by Interakt, AiSensy, DoubleTick or Zoko, so their totals exclude it.
- Zoko, 360dialog and Twilio list prices in dollars or euros. We did not convert them.
WhatsApp Business API cost is usually quoted as a plan price, and the plan price is the smallest part of the month. Seats, a second number, an AI agent and the per-message rate decide the bill. So we fixed one team and one month of messages, and priced it on eight providers and on our own product, from their public pricing pages as listed on 7 Oct 2026.
We make Conecxt, one of the products compared here.
What does WhatsApp Business API cost per month for a 10-person team?
For this scenario, the six providers that price in rupees came to between ₹11,747.00 and ₹24,744.80 a month before taxes. Three of those six totals leave out something the page doesn’t publish, so read the notes beside each figure before comparing them.
Inside every one of those bills is the same ₹7,939.80 or more for the messages themselves. The rest is the platform.
The scenario
One team, one month, defined once and applied to everyone:
- 10 people who each need their own login.
- 2 WhatsApp numbers, one for sales and one for support.
- 4,000 opted-in contacts, all on Indian (+91) numbers.
- 8,000 marketing template messages delivered (two campaigns to the 4,000).
- 6,000 utility template messages delivered: booking confirmations and payment receipts.
- 5,000 service replies inside the 24-hour window, 3,000 from the sales number and 2,000 from support.
- 1 AI agent or chatbot, where the plan offers one.
Think of a home-appliance service company in Bhubaneswar with six people on bookings and four on complaints. It sends no one-time passwords and makes no calls, and none of its chats began from a click-to-WhatsApp ad, which Meta doesn’t charge for, for up to 7 days.
Meta gives each business number 1,000 free service messages a month, so 3,000 of the 5,000 replies are charged: (3,000 − 1,000) + (2,000 − 1,000). We applied that per-number rule to every provider. Wati’s rate card words the allowance differently (“Every business gets 1000 free service messages every month”); read as one allowance for the whole business, its bill would be ₹138.00 higher.
What each platform charges before messages
Platform cost ran from ₹2,799 to ₹15,493 a month among the rupee-priced plans, and the gap is mostly seats and the second number. For each provider we took the cheapest listed plan that covers 10 users and can take a second number, on monthly billing where the page offers it. Prices are per month, before taxes.
| Provider and plan | Plan fee | Seats to reach 10 | Second number | AI agent | Platform subtotal |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interakt Growth | ₹2,799 | Included (“Unlimited agents”) | Not published, ask sales | Add-on listed ”@ 3000 INR”, period not stated: excluded | ₹2,799 |
| Conecxt Growth | ₹4,299 | Included (10 members) | Included (4 numbers) | Included (2 agents) | ₹4,299 |
| AiSensy Basic | ₹1,500 | 6 logins included; 4 × ₹750 = ₹3,000 | Not published, ask sales | ₹1,350, includes 1,000 AI messages | ₹5,850 |
| DoubleTick Pro + AI | ₹9,200, billed quarterly as ₹27,600 | Included (10 agents) | Not published, ask sales (1 WABA included) | Included (up to 10) | ₹9,200 |
| Gallabox Essential | ₹6,999, billed quarterly | 6 included; 4 × ₹1,200 = ₹4,800 | ₹1,200 channel add-on | Included (2,000 AI credits) | ₹12,999 |
| Wati Pro | ₹6,499 | 5 included; 5 × ₹1,299 = ₹6,495 | ₹2,499 | Included (2 agents) | ₹15,493 |
| Zoko Elite | $139.99 | Included (10 agents) | Not published, ask sales | $24.99 | $164.98 |
| 360dialog Premium | €99 per number × 2 = €198 | Not published, ask sales | In the plan fee | None listed | €198 |
| Twilio | No plan fee | No inbox or seats on this page | Not published on this page | None listed | $0 |
Three notes on plan choice. Wati’s Growth plan and Gallabox’s Basic are capped at three users, so neither fits. Gallabox and DoubleTick list quarterly and yearly billing only, so the monthly figure is paid three months at a time. Zoko’s Starter plan costs $49.99 with free agents, plus $0.015 on every conversation; conversations can’t be derived from message counts, so we used Elite, which lists “10 Agents included” and “100K conversations - no markup”. Starter works out cheaper below 6,000 conversations a month.
What the messages cost
The same 17,000 charged messages cost ₹7,939.80 at Meta’s list rates and between ₹8,948.00 and ₹10,025.00 on the five published rupee rate cards. Marketing is most of it on every card.
| Rate card | Marketing: 8,000 × | Utility: 6,000 × | Service: 3,000 × | Messages total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta list rate (Conecxt, 360dialog) | ₹0.8631 = ₹6,904.80 | ₹0.1150 = ₹690.00 | ₹0.1150 = ₹345.00 | ₹7,939.80 |
| Interakt Growth | ₹0.958 = ₹7,664.00 | ₹0.150 = ₹900.00 | ₹0.128 = ₹384.00 | ₹8,948.00 |
| DoubleTick | ₹0.99 = ₹7,920.00 | ₹0.1294 = ₹776.40 | ₹0.1294 = ₹388.20 | ₹9,084.60 |
| Gallabox | ₹0.9926 = ₹7,940.80 | ₹0.1323 = ₹793.80 | ₹0.1323 = ₹396.90 | ₹9,131.50 |
| Wati Pro | ₹0.9926 = ₹7,940.80 | ₹0.1495 = ₹897.00 | ₹0.1380 = ₹414.00 | ₹9,251.80 |
| AiSensy | ₹1.09 = ₹8,720.00 | ₹0.145 = ₹870.00 | ₹0.145 = ₹435.00 | ₹10,025.00 |
| Meta list rate in dollars (Zoko) | $0.0118 = $94.40 | $0.0014 = $8.40 | $0.0014 = $4.20 | $107.00 |
| Twilio: Meta fee + $0.005 | $0.0168 = $134.40 | $0.0064 = $38.40 | $0.0064 = $19.20, plus 2,000 free-tier replies × $0.005 = $10.00 | $202.00 |
Why Meta’s list rate for three of them:
- Conecxt: businesses add their own payment method in Meta Business Manager and Meta bills them at its rate card.
- 360dialog: its docs say “Usage-based costs are set by official Meta rate cards”, and add that sending marketing through the standard endpoint, as opposed to Meta’s Marketing Messages API, “adds a 7% surcharge to Meta’s standard rate”. We assumed no surcharge; with it, add ₹483.34.
- Zoko: its page reads “WhatsApp: rate card” and links to Meta’s.
Twilio charges its $0.005 on every message, including the 2,000 replies Meta doesn’t charge for, and on inbound messages too.
The eight bills, and ours
Platform subtotal plus messages, for one month, before taxes, as listed on 7 Oct 2026. Nothing is rounded.
| Provider and plan | Arithmetic | Month total | Not in the total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interakt Growth | ₹2,799 + ₹8,948.00 | ₹11,747.00 | Second number (not published). AI agent add-on (3000 INR, period not stated) |
| Conecxt Growth | ₹4,299 + ₹7,939.80 | ₹12,238.80 | Nothing in this scenario |
| AiSensy Basic | ₹5,850 + ₹10,025.00 | ₹15,875.00 | Second number (not published) |
| DoubleTick Pro + AI | ₹9,200 + ₹9,084.60 | ₹18,284.60 | Second number (not published) |
| Gallabox Essential | ₹12,999 + ₹9,131.50 | ₹22,130.50 | Nothing in this scenario |
| Wati Pro | ₹15,493 + ₹9,251.80 | ₹24,744.80 | Nothing in this scenario |
| Zoko Elite | $164.98 + $107.00 | $271.98 | Second number (not published). AI resolutions after the first 100, at $0.09 each |
| Twilio | $0 + $202.00 | $202.00 | Inbound messages at $0.005 each. An inbox, seats and an AI agent, which this page doesn’t sell |
| 360dialog Premium | €198 + ₹7,939.80 | €198 + ₹7,939.80 | User seats (not published) |
The rows are not all the same product. Twilio’s page sells an API, so the 10 people would still need an inbox someone builds or buys. 360dialog’s Premium plan lists an inbox among its included add-ons but no seat count. If Interakt’s AI add-on is monthly, its row becomes ₹14,747.00. We haven’t converted dollars or euros, because the rate you’d get depends on your bank and the day.
What moves the bill most
Three things, in this order for a team this size.
Seats. Interakt lists “Unlimited agents (All Roles)” on Growth and Advanced, and AiSensy charges ₹750 for each extra one. Wati Pro includes five users and charges ₹1,299 for each after that, which is ₹6,495 of its total here. Conecxt’s Growth plan includes exactly 10 members; an eleventh person means a +5 members add-on at ₹1,999 a month. A 25-person team would pay nothing extra for seats on Interakt, and that is the case where its pricing page beats ours plainly.
The marketing rate comes next. Each extra 10,000 marketing messages costs ₹8,631 at Meta’s list rate, ₹9,580 on Interakt Growth, about ₹9,900 on DoubleTick, Gallabox and Wati Pro, and ₹10,900 on AiSensy. At 8,000 a month the spread between the lowest and highest card is ₹1,815.20. At 80,000 it is ten times that. Who you send offers to matters more than any of it.
Caps you may not notice. Conecxt’s Growth plan includes 20,000 sent messages a month and this scenario uses 19,000; a busier month needs a +5,000 messages add-on at ₹799. Interakt lists “Unlimited Messages” on every plan. Check the equivalent line on any plan you shortlist: Wati lists automation triggers, Gallabox AI credits, Zoko conversations.
Where another provider is the better choice
On these numbers Interakt is the lowest bill if you don’t need an AI agent, and it stays low as the team grows. AiSensy’s Basic plan has the lowest plan fee in the table, ₹1,500 a month with six logins, which suits a small team that sends little marketing. Wati and Gallabox list CRM integrations on their pricing pages, including HubSpot and Zoho; Conecxt has no CRM connectors. Zoko describes itself as built for Shopify brands and includes ready-made store flows in every plan. Twilio and 360dialog suit a team with developers who want the API and their own software on top.
How we did this
- Prices were read from each provider’s public pricing page on 7 October 2026, between 00:25 and 00:40 IST, in a headless Chrome browser with an Indian locale and no login. Billing toggles were set to monthly where the page has one.
- Per-message rates come from the pricing page, or from a rate card the pricing page links to: Wati’s Pro plan PDF, Gallabox’s docs and DoubleTick’s rate sheet. Twilio’s India rates come from the CSV its page offers. The page-by-page record is in our audit of the eight pricing pages.
- Meta’s charges use the India list rates on its pricing page, updated 30 September 2026: ₹0.8631 marketing, ₹0.1150 utility and service, and 1,000 free service messages per number.
- A component a page doesn’t publish is marked “not published, ask sales” and left out of that provider’s total. We did not estimate it.
- We left out GST and other taxes, one-time setup or onboarding fees, yearly discounts, AI usage beyond what a plan includes, and calling.
- We chose plans by one rule only: the cheapest listed plan that fits the seats and numbers. A provider might recommend a different plan for features this scenario doesn’t test.
Yearly billing lowers every plan fee in the table and none of the message charges. If you’re collecting quotes, the twelve questions to ask a provider will get you the missing lines in writing, and the glossary covers the terms.

Common questions
How much does WhatsApp Business API cost per month for a small team in India?
For 10 users, 2 numbers and 19,000 messages a month to Indian customers, six rupee-priced providers came to between ₹11,747.00 and ₹24,744.80 a month before taxes, on prices listed on 7 October 2026. Meta's own message charges inside those totals are ₹7,939.80 at list rates.
What does Meta charge for 19,000 WhatsApp messages in India?
At Meta's India list rates, 8,000 marketing messages cost ₹6,904.80, 6,000 utility messages ₹690.00, and 5,000 service replies across two numbers ₹345.00, because the first 1,000 on each number are free. That is ₹7,939.80 before GST, on the rate card effective 1 October 2026.
Which costs do WhatsApp API providers not publish on their pricing pages?
On 7 October 2026 the price of a second WhatsApp number was not on the pricing pages of Interakt, AiSensy, DoubleTick or Zoko. 360dialog's page did not publish user seats, and Interakt's AI agent add-on was listed at 3000 INR without a billing period. Ask sales for each in writing.
Is the cheapest WhatsApp API plan the cheapest bill?
Not in this scenario. AiSensy's Basic plan had the lowest plan fee in our table at ₹1,500 a month, but with four extra seats, an AI agent and its per-message rates the month came to ₹15,875.00. Interakt's ₹2,799 plan with unlimited agents came to ₹11,747.00, excluding its AI add-on.
